Explore Kansai is a travel guide for those who are unfamiliar with the region. Although the prefectures of Fukui, Tokushima, and Tottori are sometimes included in the area, the Kansai region officially consists of 7: Hyogo, Kyoto, Shiga, Osaka, Nara, Wakayama, and Mie. Volume 02 of this guide explores the Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara prefectures. It displays qualities of modern, clean, and calm in parallel to the region.
