TIMELINE

1 Week
The management team at Localhost (Nerd Street's brick and mortar) hosts weekly Splatoon meetups that unite local enthusiasts. Attendees are able to make friends, improve play, and experience the game with no ping.
Broadcasting the event on Twitch was our solution to growing the community. I led the visual direction and collaborated with other teams to bring the final product into reality.

ACCESSIBLE TO EVERYONE
Streaming on Twitch provides many incentives:
1. Gaining exposure and awareness
2. Having the ability to highlight members of the community
3. Retaining a library of videos to reference in the future

EXECUTION
I developed a kit that was simple enough to run without a full broadcast crew for cost efficiency. The aesthetics leaned heavily on paint splatter and existing Splatoon assets. I experimented with animation to keep the stream quality consistent with our previous broadcasts. A handful of these motion graphics were modified from existing envato templates, while a few pieces were made from scratch.
